Medical assistant career opportunities are one of the professions in the United States that has a high employment growth. The Department of labour in the US government has predicted that there will be a high demand for medical assistants until at least 2012. This is because medicine is constantly developing as new technologies and drugs are created, there is a larger and older population and more treatment facilities to deal with the sick.
The need for additional personnel is very much needed to meet the demands, most especially with the medical assistant careers that are able to handle both clinical and administrative procedures and tasks.
